I'm excited to share that I've been working with Camino Verde (@caminoverdetambopata), a nonprofit that partners with Indigenous and farming communities to restore biodiversity and sustainable livelihoods in the Peruvian Amazon. Together, we're organizing a benefit concert on May 1st at the Ethical NYC, and I'd love for you to join us.

The evening will feature the legendary keyboardist John Medeski (@johnmedeski) alongside Peruvian Amazonian cumbia trio Los Abstraccioneros, who bring the hypnotic rhythms of Amazonian cumbia to life with electrifying guitar lines, deep groove, and psychedelic textures rooted in the musical traditions of Peru's rainforest cities. Their opening performance will accompany a short film highlighting Camino Verde's work restoring forests and supporting Indigenous communities in the Peruvian Amazon.

Adler Hall is an intimate and distinctive performance space on Central Park West, offering a rare opportunity to experience these artists up close in a one-of-a-kind setting. All proceeds benefit Camino Verde's agroforestry work in the Amazon. I hope to see you there.
