About the event

I'm excited to be part of this community dialogue on watershed resilience. Floods are a major threat to watershed communities in the Catskills, but residents can be prepared through understanding past floods, why they happen, and what they can do on a household level before the next one.

Join Woodstock Land Conservancy, the Ashokan Watershed Stream Management Program, and me for an afternoon of community dialogue and interactive mapping. Together we'll explore what has been learned from past experiences with flooding in this region and examine how landowners and stewards can protect our watershed through collective action. My work on Mapping the Sawkill  will be featured as part of this discussion.

This free event is part of the Ashokan Watershed Conference 'Summit to Stream: Building a Resilient Watershed Together'. RSVP is not required. For more information, visit the conference website.
